I'm going to save it to that, because Sony Vegas is known to crash. I'm not gonna say it on here, but that is basically just a blank file that I have there that I basically will save throughout part of the project. I'll open this normal file here, and that has someone, my basic files that I use them pretty much every single video and then above this, I have this. So if I go over here, I have these two files that I generally will use when I first goto open and start editing a video.
It's gonna reset me back to an empty project. I thought if I were to go ahead and import this video and now click it, it's going to say this. So if I click this, it won't do anything. So this one is gonna create you a new empty project, which is what we have here. But right under this, we're going to see this bar. You know, all of the typical things you would see in any other program. So to start off, we're gonna go to the top. Interface Explantion: welcome everyone to the first lesson where we're gonna be talking about the user interface and where important things are and how you can do essentially the most basic parts of the program. So I figured I would make this course to show you guys how to use Sony Vegas for a YouTube are predominantly, obviously you're not gonna be ready to go work at lines gate or something like that the second you're done with this course, but in around an hour, I'm gonna show you guys all the basic ins and outs of this program as well as how to do a lot of little tricks and things like that that I've learned over the years to increase your editing speed. However, over the last seven years, I've picked up quite a lot of skills when it comes to Photoshop, video editing and things like that.
